  To be held in Luoyang of China, the 2009 World Stamp Exhibition is a significant event for the philatelists worldwide and it is the second time for China to host such a big event. This Exhibition comes at the right time when China is to celebrate its 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The Exhibition will act as a special window to showcase to the world the remarkable achievements made in China ever since its founding, in particular, those in the last 30 years of reforms and opening-up. The Exhibition will also unfold before the audience the brilliant Chinese culture and outstanding results made in building up the philatelic culture in China. Such an event will promote the cultural exchanges among the worldwide philatelists, enhance the friendship and cooperation between China and other countries and regions, and facilitate the growth of the posts and philately in China. As one of the organizers of the Exhibition, we sincerely invite the post sectors of all the countries to come to the Exhibition.
