Message from Mr. YANG Xianzu, President of
All -China Philatelic Federation

  China 2009 World Stamp Exhibition, approved by the Chinese government and under the patronage of the Federation of International Philately, will be held in April, 2009 in Luoyanc, Henan Province to celebrate the 60 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. This is another international philatelic event to be held in China after the China1999 World Philatelic Exhibition. On behalf of All-China Philatelic Federation, I would like to invite members of the Federation of International Philately to participate in the exhibition and welcome all friends from postal authorities and philatelic communities of all countries and regions to come for philatelic cultural exchanges.

  Philately has been very popular in China. In recent years, All-China Philatelic Federation has held various activities with Chinese characteristics across the country, such as philatelic exhibition, academic research, philatelic summer camps and national stamp popularity poll. These have greatly enriched the lives of stamp collectors and the public and brought philately to a higher level. To convene and participate in international philatelic events is conducive to the development of international philately.
